Biting is not tolerated!

oh my quite the weekend here. My hubby is away on a golf trip with his brothers, they started doing it a few years ago and it has been really good for them so I have no problem with them doing a weekend every year.

My problem comes when my children decide to become possessed with the devil and be a total freaking disaster while I am on my own. Seriously.

It all started out so well Friday bedtime went off with no problems (they were beat from school and activities). Saturday, little angels ate their breakfast, helped with laundry and dishes, we went to the girl's first dance class EVER and we had excellent behaviour and even when we went to the dance store after to acquire some tap shoes things were going so good. A quick stop for lunch at nonnas, then we were off to the dollar store for a few things and a toy each because of such good behaviour, then finally the grocery store where they were again so delightful and helpful I was so proud.

Cut to getting home and all hell breaks lose, the portal to hell(apparently my living room) open up and there was fighting, kicking, screaming, no sharing, and then it happened, while I was hiding away in the boys room putting away laundry I heard it...something like a struggle, some grunting some pushing and then the great cry rang out through the house. I ignored it for a minute but then it got louder and had a more "hurt" tone to it.

What is going on here? I say innocently figuring the girl just got a misplaced hand to the eye.
He said, The girl took my dollor store toy and wouldn't give it back.
I said, so what did you do?
He said, I bit her.
I said, Mr. Full Name of child, THAT IS WRONG! Go sit on the stairs until I tell you to move.

I check out the girl and the welt on her back is already rising. I grab some ice and give her some loving. I look at him and tell him I just don't know what to say.

He starts to cry that she took the toy and wouldn\t give it back.

NOTE: I have them on a sitcker chart for things like cleaning up, being polite, sharing, brushing their teeth, etc.

I confirmed that the girl did infact take the toy, thus explaining why I had heard naa, naa, naa, naa, naa shortly before the crying and screaming.

The end result:

Biting is not tolerated it is violent and it hurts people, sometimes bad enough that they have to go to the doctor ( the boy understands doctors). Taking toys away is not tolerated, this hurst peoples feeling and is not how we act.

The punishment:

No sharing sitcker, how hurray sticker for having a great day, no cookies at dinner time and you have to tell your nonna and nonno why you may not have any cookies at dinner time (we were going there for dinner). No wii and no t.v. tonight after dinner.

Swift and memorable. Did not want them to worry all weekend until their dad came home. But they will have to tell dad about the absence of stickers on their Saturday line on the chart.

Over all I'd say I handled it well. I really did not know what to do. I was so shocked.

What have you done. In this situation??

A funny little story... me and my motorcycle

As you may be aware they past month has not been easy on our family. However, we have perserved to meet our obligations to family, friends and work. Some had to be cancelled ie scrapbooking with my mom's group and co-workers, a charity 5k run and speaking engagement for me and the boy, Dad had to miss a few days of work to help me out when I was just completely overwhelmed and not getting much sleep and the poor girl had to deal with being shuffled around all over the place.

Some obligations could not be cancelled due to policies and amount of money invested. Case in point Motorcycle training course with my Aunt Chopper and it cost me $420.00 for course $17.50 to write my M1 beginners, 15.99 for training manual, $65.00 for pair of leather gloves, $147.00 for new DOT approved helmut and miscellaneous lunch, coffee and snacks. Friday Night, All day Saturday and All day Sunday. Hilarity and sheer grit ensued.

First night is training videos and going over some of the questions that will most likely be on the written test. I really can't recall what went on from 7-10pm because in case you didn't read the beginning of the last paragraph i was EXHAUSTED. they gave us some little booklet and a couple of sheets of paper and I shoved them in my bag. Got home made some cupcakes that are required for a Mother's day dinner that I will not see and left instructions with hubby about how to go about having the kids decorate them. Still no grocery shopping, start scrounging in cupboards for lunch items because I am informed that lunch breaks are actually part of the in class training time. Hubby offers me a beer which I drink because I am a little keyed up now that I know I am literally hours away from driving a motorcycle. Oh and did I mention that at about 9pm it has started to rain and the weather forcast says all day rain for tomorrow. YIP E Fucking EEE!

Saturday... darling little munchkins awake at 5AM for miscellaneous foolery like being cold, needing blankets and having to pee. Don't really get any extra sleep before I give up and get out of bed for good at 6:15 AM. Finish packing up massive lunch, pack RAINSUIT and rest of my gear. Auntie picks me up with fear and excitement in her eyes, I just need a frickin coffee.

Get to course we are second last ones in our seats... who are all these keeners...they obviously don't have children. 5mins we are suited up and out to the bikes....what no kiss first??? Find a bike find neutral and start pushing.

First exercise is to push a partner on the bike to get the feel for balance. Chubby girl dumps bike while trying to make a turn. this is not looking good. I decide to push Auntie first. Pushing Auntie on bike in full rainsuit is like running 5k this sucks! Time for Auntie to push me! I don't think I can do this..... Auntie just pushes me anyway and tells me not to be a sissy. I am trembling but I survive.

Now we have to start the bikes... Is this guy insane didn't he see me trembling I am clearly not ready for this. Oh yes I am. Just keep the clutch in and nothing bad can happen. My clutch hand HURTS ALOT!

It starts to rain, because hey why the hell not. I have paid good money to come out here to learn to ride a motorcycle and I want to be prepared for anything.

We rode in pouring rain, hail, 45 kph winds. About 4pm on Saturday I just pull my bike over to the curb, turn it off, sit down on the curb and cry. When all the instructors rush over to see what is wrong I scream I am FUCKING tired you idiots! We ride until 5:30pm and watch a few more videos.

On the way home we discuss how tired we are and how tomorrow is really going to suck but HEY the weather is supposed to be better tomorrow just a little colder. Note to self: pack turtle neck and extra sweater.

I get home and hubby has taken kids out for dinner, I have a glorious hot shower and proceed to smother my body with A535 and a special Arnica gel my massage therapist gave me. Now I think I smell worse. I take an Advil and wait for it to kick in. We put the kids to bed and hubby says " you better go to...full day tomorrow" Whaaaaaaa!

Sunday I wake up and take a quick inventory ooooouuuucccchhhhh! I don't think it hurts to open my LEFT EYE but that is about it. Every muscle, joint and skin cell is shrieking!

I roll out of bed and start to get ready. Drink my coffee and ignore the regular morning chaos of our house because I know if I lose focus, determination for one second the motivation will leave me and I will curl up in the fetal position and not move for a week.

Auntie picks me up and she looks like how I feel, we don't discuss anything on the way to school, we silently doubt our coping skills and ponder how we will make it through the day.

More riding, but it seems to go better to day, more challenges but feeling alittle more confident. Classroom session The written test - that I did not study for because my body required SLEEP. Write test botch about 3 questions that I knew the answer to. Luckily did not affect my results. We Pass. Thank you Jesus, Budha, Confusious, and all the saints.

Now out for more riding and this is where the funny shit starts happening. We have to do a passenger ride. Auntie just about implodes and she has no interest in this. I have frankly come to the point where I don't care anymore and I'm willing to try anything. I travel as a passenger first since I travel as a passenger all the time and I'm good at it. Besides I could use more of a break. It is a weird feeling and we make it through our obstacle course with more than a few chuckles. Now it's my turn to drive and she will NOT get on the bike. WHAT!
Me: Get on the bike
Her: Not sure if I can
Me: What do you mean? Get on the bike?
Her: This doesn't feel safe? Are you sure?
Me: Sure I'm sure I'm not about to do anything if I don't think it's safe. GET ON THE BIKE!
Her: I don't want to.
Me: I dont' care! we are the last ones, get on the damn bike!
Her: Okay Let me see.
Me: One foot then the other and GET ON THE BIKE!
Her Okay okay! But you go home and tell your dad you killed his sister!
Me: Fine! it's okay there are 4 more of you, I'm good!
Her: Not funny!
Me: GET ON THE BIKE!
Her: Hey this is not so bad, you're doing good, keep going, you're doing good, good balance, nice shoulder check, good gear shift.
ME: Auntie if you want to live you need to SHUT UP so I can focus and not get us hurt.

Hilarity ensued and we laughed our way through the course as I ran over a few pylons and she said we must look like dumb and dumber - two grown women riding around on a tiny little bike. It was so funny we couldn't stop laughing but I guess you had to been there to truly appreciate it. Our instructors found us quite funny as well and that is good because we were the last ones to complete the course and our entire class was laughing at us laughing. I needed that laugh just to relax.

The course was so much easier after that and then it was test time. The test was so much easier then the class course and although most of my classmates were REALLY nervous (including Auntie)they made little errors and received a few deductions. I was quite calm and aced my test with a perfect ride! SWEET!

I am now the proud owner of an GM2 licence in the province of Ontario.

Now only if I could use my arms because they are soooooooo sore I can barely butter toast or turn the ignition key in my car.

HELP!

New Product - Illness B Gone

I wish!

Today the bug woke up with Laryngitis, which required some serious fancy footwork on my part. Our babysitter has not been feeling well and so I just could not send him to the sitters or when I knew he was dealing with something. School was not an option because we just got a nice note home from school saying, " For shits sake people quit sending your sick kids here" Well that's not actually what it said. I may have paraphrased a little.

However, hubby was only too happy to hear of my emergency and come to my rescue since he is stuck working outside today and it is a balmy MINUS 22 degress here in our winter wonderland. Can you say darling you saved my life.

So I have a few minutes here before he gets home and then I am off to work where I will have to put in a few extra hours tonight to off set my late start this morning.

I hate when mondays start this way!

How about you? A smooth monday or a rough monday??

iPod Shuffle - My new friend

My brother is so cool. awhile ago I sent him an email that if anyone was looking for an idea for my birthday I would really appreciate an iPod shuffle, since it looks like I am sticking with the running this so far.

So yesterday I got a cute little pink package with a purple bow on it with a fully loaded iPod shuffle.

Thanks Bro!

Now my little brother has a sense of humour! I have a few wonderful surprise on there so far. Like Elvis (which was a good surprise) Leonard Cohen (ok surprise) Feist singing 1,2,3,4 which I could do without!

Ha ha.

Anyone have any gotta have's for my playlist?

Faaaccckkkk! A Friday Post

I think I blew the whole life balance thing this week. First things first I forgot to post a poll for a Friday post topic. So therefore, no Fucking Friday Post! Doink!

It's been a whirl wind week around here not made any better by my fourteen yearold neice who is babysitting. I swear to GOD that girl! She is super with the kids however she a SMALL (read HUGE FUCKING) problem cleaning up after.

SUPER FANTASTIC Bugaloo you re-created Mr. maker's house FABULOUS. Why is there a big fucking orange puddle of paint on my Goddamn carpet! ( I hate the green carpet but that is beside the point. ) OH LOVELY you recreated Mr.Makers couch out of homemade playdough..SUPER! Yes I can see that ground into the chairs in the dining room SWEET. I'm so glad you used food coloring because that won't stain their clothes at all. Now where is the leftover pladough and the containers you made it in. GREAT didn't find those until the next day all hardened in to the containers and I will have to pry out with a chisel. SUPER FUN. You used a TONNE of sitckers to decorate Mr. Maker's Doodle Drawers? I can tell the paper backing of the stickers are ALL OVER the floor. AWESOME!

I can also tell that you had juice boxes, yogurt, granola bars, raisins, gum, and something else that turned in to a BIG ASS pile of crumbs. GOOD GOD!

Whew! Now I have to admit we only pay her 20 bucks for the day so it's alittle over 2bucks an hour But HOLY SHIT! I don't want to hire a restoration crew everyday she babysits.

I don't know how a 14yr can get through life being such a disaster honestly. I don't want to crush her self esteem, I just don't know how to make it clear to her that this is a job she is supposed to be helping me. Not turning my hosue into a disaster zone. I offered her the opportunity to babysit because she was applying to Tim Horton's this would impead her family from travelling to their cottage if she had to work the weekend. So this solved two problems, gave her some spending money and allowed her family to travel on the weekend. How did being nice backfire so badly?

So I am thankful that next week is the last week she is babysitting. Only 2 more days to go. Then I get my cleaning helper back (the neat cousin, too bad she can't babysit).

oohhmmmm!

Simon Whitfield - ROCKS

Did anyone see the coverage of the Olymipic men's triathlon. I did and it was AWESOME. Simon struggled with the heat and pacing. In the last two kms he fell behind and I thought the day was done.

He threw off his hat and poured on the inspiration to close a 15 metre gap and pushed through to come in 2nd for the silver medal. I have goose bumps just typing this.

He is so funny. Afterwards I saw an interview with him where he was talking about the differences between seasoned athletes and first timers. He said he was in the staging area listening to his IPOD and playing some games with some of the guys while other "first time" athletes were warming up doing big stretches and little sprints.

He said he just sat back and chuckled to himself." That's it boys, its really HOT out there, go ahead and warm up some more"

I just find him so inspiring, he is such a straightforward, no nonsense, say what's on his mind kinda guy.

I tell you that is what I was thinking as I was funning by myself yesterday for 16 mins without stopping 2 times in a row. Yeah for me! It felt good! Finally!

I might also have a "little" crush on simon whitfield - can you tell?

Life Strategies - a simple story

A father passing by his son's bedroom, was astonished to see the bed was nicely made, and everything was picked up. Then, he saw an envelope, propped up prominently on the pillow. It was addressed, 'Dad.' With the worst premonition, he opened the envelope and read the letter, with trembling hands.

'Dear, Dad.
It is with great regret and sorrow that I'm writing you. I had to elope with my new girlfriend, because I wanted to avoid a scene with Mum and you. I've been finding real passion with Stacy, and she is so nice, but I knew you would not approve of her, because of all her piercing's, tattoos, her tight motorcycle clothes, and because she is so much older than I am.

But it's not only the passion, Dad. She's pregnant. Stacy said that we will be very happy. She owns a trailer in the woods, and has a stack of firewood for the whole winter. We share a dream of having many more children. Stacy has opened my eyes to the fact that marijuana doesn't, really hurt anyone We'll be growing it for ourselves, and trading it with the other people in the commune, for all the cocaine and ecstasy we want.

In the meantime, we'll pray that science will find a cure for AIDS, so Stacy can get better. She sure deserves it!! Don't worry Dad, I'm 15, and I know how to take care of myself. Someday, I'm sure we'll be back to visit, so you can get to know your many grandchildren.

Love, your son, Joshua.

P.S. Dad, none of the above is true. I'm over at Jason's house. I just wanted to remind you that there are worse things in life than the school report that's on my desk.
I love you! Call when it is safe for me to come home.

Clutter and Organizing

The votes are in and it looks like this will be a post about clutter and organizing.

What the Key? - Throw some SHIT away! kidding....

What is clutter? Everything that doesn't have a home. All the crap that you have no where to put. Ity Bity treasures that your kids find outside, gifts your kids get from the doctor or the dentist for being good patient. Magazines, flyers (ugh), the shoes, the bag of hand-me-downs that you haven't gone through yet or given away yet.

It all just piles up. After reading Peter Walsh's book It's all too much I realized that it really is a mind set. You need to deal with clutter as it happens, get rid of the flyers that you are never going to look at, for example for us right now in our lives we never look at the Nevada Bob's Golf store flyer, neither one of us are going golfing anytime soon, even if we had to play tomorrow we have all the equipment we need to get us through 1 or 2 tournaments there is no need to read that flyer. Same goes for grocery stores that I just won't go to. For me the Price Chopper is just not convenient- EVER. So I turf that flyer too even if they have cheese on sale for 50 cents I know I will never go there so forget it.

Another tip I have read from Marilu Henner is "Never leave a room empty handed" I think that has proved very useful. You would be amazed what gets picked up one handful at a time.

In our household we have found that the family calendar with a to do list and grocery list attached or posted in close proximity is a life saver. All activities nights out, etc get put on the calendar as they are booked. Items used up or requested get put on the grocery list. Anything I notice around the house that needs to get done goes on the to do list ie sweep the floor, vaccumming, laundry, dishwasher, oil change on the car. Then when me or hubby has a few minutes we review that list and prioritize those little things that keep the house running.

We try to chat once or twice a week to check in and see if we have any scheduling conflicts or if one or the other is feeling too rushed or worn out and then we may have to make some choices to cancel some engagements, this also happens if we notice the kids are getting a little out of sorts and need some down time.

When I put away laundry which is about once every 10 days I go through each child's clothes to see what fits what they haven't worn and I keep a bag going on the back of the bedroom or closet door, when this bag is full it goes to the donation holding area in our garage to be picked up with the next donation day.

A great resource for tips is Peter Walsh's website which has a Tip of the Day.

I find the best way to deal with clutter and organizing is little steps at a time. Start with the daily stuff, picking up after yourselves and organizing your family activities and time when you have that under control you will be able to carve out an hour here or there to deal with one pile at a time.

With just a little bit at a time you will begin to feel the weight lifting and the air starting to move again which will motivate you to keep going one hour one pile at a time.

Have a great long weekend! Till next time! don't forget to vote for next week's topic.

What did we learn about punching?

Heard at my house before dinner last night.....

Peanut crying because she wanted to be picked up in kitchen where her wonderful, multi-tasking mother was making pasta sauce and pasta and steaming vegetables at the same time and said NO and told her to go watch T.V. for a few minutes. ANYWAY...

Peanut crying...
No crying little scuffling..
Bugaloo: Oh no you won't.
Crying and screaming from both children.

Wonderful mother leaps into action, turns down sauce and pasta and runs to living room.

She enters living room to see peanut lying on her back kicking and hitting, Bugaloo who is over top of her punch and hitting! (WTF?)

What is going on here? Stop what you are doing right this instant! (don't know where that came from, but I'm going to thank my mom)

Put one child on each knee. What happened here?

BUGALOO: I wanted her to stop crying!
MOM: So what happened?
BUGALOO: I punched her!
MOM: What the FUCK? you little SHIT are you on GODDAMNED CRACK (kidding)
MOM: Did she stop crying?
BUGALOO: No...(tears welling up in his eyes) She PUNCHED me back! WAaaaaa I'm so sorry Mom I shouldn't have hit her. Waaaaaaa! She hurt me! waaaaaaaa
MOM: Peanut did you punch your brother?
PEANUT: Nods head up and down.
MOM: Bugaloo, I would like to you apologize to your sister.
BUGALOO: I'm sorry peanut, I'm sorry for punching you.
MOM: Peanut, I would like you to apologize to your brother.
PEANUT: I sorry for hitting.
MOM: Now what did we learn about punching?

BUGALOO: It doesn't work.

ooommmmmmmm!

Dinner is served!

P.S. 10 mins later I hear a THUD in the living room and Bugaloo exclaims HEY! Apparently he was practicing his independent walking between our couch and chair and half way through as he passed his sister, she quietly reached out and SHOVED him and he FELL. Another round of apologies anyone!

Funny Story

Once upon a time....

there was a woman in her mid 30's with two children. She worked full-time due to the fact that her employer offered full family benefits and her husband's employer sadly did not.

Therefore this beautiful, organized mom of two, who did not want to stress out her mother in law for the summer created a plan of rotating babysitters. Mon-Wed - Nonna, Tues-Thurs - Niece, Fridays Neena and Papa (at their farm).

One day.... in a torrential downpour (rivaling a monsoon or hurricane)this beautiful mommy tried to pack up her car with kids toys, kids food, kids clothes and kids plus the dog. This went well for everyone except beautiful mom, who now looks like a bedraggled bag lady on the Las Vegas strip who has been on a two week bender.

Never fear.... in her brillant organized moments our heroine packed extra clothes for herself to change into for work and thankfully looks acceptable in a ponytail.

However, after unpacking said kids paraphernalia and said kids and dog. Here is a list of things she forgot.

Bugaloo's glasses
Bugaloo's toilet seat
Peanut's CLOTHES (for shit sake)
Peanut's Rice Milk (we have taken her off of dairy to see if this changes some issues she is having)
Kids' extra shoes

Honestly, WTF!??

The End-

Post Script -

Yesterday I came home to a hell of a messy house. Messy (but happy)children. I did what any respectable stressed out mom would do. I ordered pizza and began the cleaning up process. I load of dishes, two loads of laundry, cleaned the bathroom (because God knows what happened in there). Bathing two children. Showered, washed my hair (at 10 pm) which meant sleeping on wet hair, so you can imagine what that looked like when my husband woke me up at 6:45am! (which really wasn't a factor after all the fucking rain) PPS. I usually leave the house at 7:10 to go out to the farm to drop the kids off on Fridays. Can you hear me! Listen closely.....FUCK!

Big cleansing YOGA breathe OMMMMMM...

The rest of the day will be better. I swear! ( all the time)

Heard in Orthopedic Clinic Appointment

Doctor: Well "Bugaloo" you are really doing well, since I saw you last"

Bugaloo: Ya I know.

Doctor: It looks like you have been doing some crawling cause you knees are kinda rough.

Bugaloo: Yeah sometimes

Doctor: You know, now that you are getting the hang of this walking thing, you need to start walking everywhere.

Bugaloo: Well...sometimes things are sooo far away (holds hands far apart) it goes alot faster if I crawl.

Doctor: Well the more you practice the easier and faster walking will get.

Bugaloo: But crawling is faster.

Doctor: Well I'm the doctor and I'm telling you that you need to do more walking.

Bugaloo: I guess.

Doctor leaves shaking her head and giggling

Mom and Physiotherapist are huddled in the corner trying not to laugh.

Bugaloo: Can we go now?

Mother's Day

Ahhh! A day devoted to Mother's gotta love it.

I got to sleep in an extra hour, hubby gave me my present. I was hoping for a NIKON D80 Camera BUT I got an interior exterior detailing for my CAR! Which was still actually very sweet since two weeks ago the peanut threw up in my car and although I got it all cleaned up it could definatly use the detailing.

Then we went for brunch with my family a tradition for over 10 years now. It was so nice this year. Hubby packed for the event or didn't pack I should say. thankfully we didn't need any diapers or wipes for extra clothes. What a fucktard! Who leaves the house with out a bag and who thinks his wife is going to do it on mother's day! Doink!

Then we went home for a little rest before going to my BIL house for Mother's day /birthday dinner.

Thank fully again, both kids napped and were relatively great for the evening. The peanut only flipped out once.

We are so blessed to have two great families who love us and support us. Hubby has 3 brothers and I have to say I always got along with my Sis-in=laws and my relationship with each of the brothers keeps growing as we get to know each other more each year.

My sisters husband is an awesome guy even though he can be a fucktard now and again. And my brother has been truly blessed to find a gal that his mom and sisters LOVE and she still is strong woman who can stand her ground with my brother.

I LOVE my Family all of them the crazy NUTS!

The Good Stuff

It's a beautiful day in the neighbourhood.

The sun is shining the birds are singing and today Bugaloo woke me up with this...

"Mom"
"Yes"

"Rise and Shine"

I love that kid.

Then we went to his sisters room where they greeted each other with "Hi sister, Hi brother. I LUB You!"

Warmed my heart.....until they wouldn't eat their breakfast, ran around the house half naked refusing to put clothes on.

I don't care who you are that's funny!

Saturday Morning

Acck!

Our dryer is broken! This is not good! If I don't get my 3-4 loads of Laundry done I am very afraid of what will happen. How long will it take to get caught up.

I would just pack my stuff up and go to my mom's or my sisters except we got some snow last night and we are expecting a tonne more today!

This puts a whole new spin on Organic Housekeeping! This is not exactly what I had in mind.

AccK!

Can you dry clothes over the internet?

Well, please excuse me, I have to go and string a wash line all over my house.

Have a great day!

TOPS, Job Hunt, Scrapbooking

Okay!

TOPS update:
Not bad, despite pizza and beer blowout the 3 hours of bowling seems to do some good! Even though I had a mini hersey kiss breakdown on Sunday I still managed to lose 1.5lbs. I was very excited. It gave me renewed confidence to keep going with my new habits.

Job Hunt:
Recruiting agency are Fucktards (borrowed from Minivan Mom) they did not listen to their client who was in a hurry to fill the position, they gave them some lame line "to do it properly we need some time" so the company filled the position already. I am so Pissed! I had figured out what company it was, my hubby said I should go in and introduce myself as a potential candidate, but I didn't want to push my luck or piss off the staffing agency. DUH! Now I have lost a perfect position.

So Pissed. Damn Fucktards!

Scrapbooking:

So looking forward to my weekend away. I am not prepared, but I have all day friday to pack so I am hopeful. I still have about 100 photos to print off which I have to do tonight if I want them to all be totally dry by the weekend.

I can't wait until we can afford a laptop so I can start doing some digital scrapbooking to make my life a little easier. I will never give up the paper but it would be nice to do some on the computer.

I have a request to post some layouts after my weekend I will have to see how the creative juices are flowing.

How about a quote from Doris Banks in Houston, Texas that I found in a book I am reading called How to Ask for and get Money, Fulfillment and Advancement by Tory Johnson and Robyn Freedman Spizman.,

"I've learned that help rarely falls into our laps, You have to be willing to recognize that you need it, then you have to muster the confidence to ask for it."

What day is it??

Did I miss a memo? did Saturday fly by and I had no time to post? Darn!

My niece had her confirmation, and we did a big luncheon party for her yesterday and then in the evening, said niece babysat for us while we went out bowling with our biker friends. Nothing like 20 bikers wearing goofy shoes and acting like a bunch of goof balls.

Wouldn't have missed it for the world.

Now I'm catching up on weekend laundry and getting dinner ready.

Chicken, pasta, green beans and garlic bread. ho hum!
